What a name! City of Taste!

An entire building devoted to food and wine! I could certainly say that I wouldn't mind to live in it...! It is my Disneyland....

It is a modern structure build in 1999 and it has 4 floors with a wine bar, a cooking school, bookstore and the "Theatre of Kitchen": lla creme de la creme. It is a big hall shaped like a theatre. On the stage, wine and food classes are demonstrated are featured. In the seating area, shaped like an amphitheatre, there are tables where guests can taste and drink the same items shown and prepared on the stage.

Wow!!! Food, Wine and Theatre. All of you who know me, now understand why I would LIVE in this building!! I wandered around. The personnel working there is very polite and helpful. Emanuela in particular was very nice. She gave me lots of information and she followed up with me the day after to wrap up some open issues.

In the building there is also a TV station where Gambero Rosso transmits culinary and wine related shows/events. I highly recommend a visit- both real and virtual. La Citta' del Gusto is located in Roma - Via Enrico Fermi 161 You can find lot more at http://www.gamberorosso.it/portale/cdg/citta
