The GWL - Day 8From Marche to Romagna

In the morning I kept driving north passing through a park in a rocky promontory. There were few nice spots here for pictures, high on the sea with a beautiful scenery.

Then, the road that crosses the border Marche/EmiliaRomagna is a bit boring, until it reaches the coastline again. Few km after Pesaro I then entered the area known as the beach paradise for young generations. This is the land of the best dancing halls and discotheque of the entire Italian peninsula. Teens drive from all over to reach their dreamed spot for dancing their night out. Yes...I was among them...only "few" years ago!

The towns are: Rimini, Riccione, Bellaria and others.

Not very interesting from an artistic point of view or as landscape. Just beaches, beaches, beaches! I didn't drive much today. I called an early day and rested for the night in Bellaria because I wanted to stay near the sea one more time listening to the relaxing sound of the waves crashing on the beach.

Castel di Mezzo - a town with 10 houses and one restaurant!

Riccione and the flat coast of Romagna

Riccione - A "gelateria" selling hundreds of different taste of gelato.

Rimini - Kilometers of beaches (in a rainy day)
