Visiting Italy as a Tourist

Resting my tasting buds!
After yesterday's tour-de-force, I took a bit of rest. I took advantage of my vicinity with my beloved sea and I swam, suntanned, relaxed. By doing so, I also rested my tasting buds... a more than deserved break!
I visited Senigallia with a nice fortress-castle and few medieval towns such as Candelara and Gradara. I missed the opportunity of going to Urbino, one of the best medieval city-fortress of this part of Italy, however I did not go. Too many times I had to skip nice things to see, simply because... they are too many! I CAN not do everything even if I know it will be a missed opportunity. "I will go another time"... that's what I say not to become sad all of the sudden.
Driving by the hills of the Colli Pesaresi, known for a geographically extended DOC area, I saw a Canadian flag flying near an Italian one. Of course I had to stop and take a look. It was a memorial to the numerous soldiers fallen in WW2 in this spot during one of the most bloody battles fought in Italy: The Green Gothic Line. My thoughts went far away for a moment.
I passed by Pesaro a medium size town on the sea and directed my compass north towards Romagna the east portion of the region called "Emilia Romagna". Before adventuring myself in one of the best region for food lovers (!) I stopped at a B&B owned and run by a young couple. I felt very comfortable with them right away. They were friendly, smiling and lovers of nature and animals. I stared at their rabbits for many minutes and I had a blast by observing their donkey playing with the amaca in the yard!
A great dinner was served as well as an abundant breakfast in the morning after which prepared me for the passage to Romagna!
